As a Typescript Developer for Wowza, you will join a video player team building the software that powers user experience. Through your contributions, you will be empowering a community of builders creating video-enabled solutions. As a member of the team, you will bring expertise that enables our video player and enjoy a collaborative work environment where knowledge sharing on TypeScript best practices is encouraged.
Ideally candidate is an experienced Typescript Developer with excellent communication skills and located in Sweden and is eligible to work in the EU.
Requirements
About You:
· Deep technical knowledge in TypeScript with a strong understanding of its capabilities and limitations.
· Proven track record of building and maintaining complex browser-based projects in TypeScript.
· Strong foundation in modern JavaScript (ES6+), along with HTML5 and CSS3 for responsive design.
· Able to work with low level browser APIs and dependency-free code.
· Demonstrated ability to write performance-oriented TypeScript code.
· Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems.
· Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices.
Nice To Have:
· Experience with video streaming technologies, including Adaptive Bitrate Streaming and WebRTC.
· Experience with video-related APIs and understanding of video codecs and container formats.
· Experience with front-end frameworks, as we produce libraries consumed by React/Vue/etc
· Experience designing for developer ergonomics.
