We are currently searching for a skilled Senior Python Software Engineer to join our Content team. You will create robust and scalable systems capable of efficiently managing and processing high volumes of retailer/booking traffic and data.

 

What you will do:

• Design, develop, deploy, maintain, and improve the backend for interactive web applications and APIs. 

• Lead designs of major software components, systems, and features. 

• Deploying Machine Learning / Statistical models build by the Data team. 

• Solve technically challenging problems working with high-load systems.

Workplace:

We are a remote-first company with teams located around the Globe.
HQ office in Berlin, where the team often meets in the office.

Who you are:

• You have a degree in Computer Science or related field.

• You have at least 2 years of software engineering experience with a focus on developing web applications using modern, high-performance web frameworks in Python.

• You have a strong knowledge of asynchronous functions or any experience with parallel computing.

• You are experienced with Docker, and K8S is considered a plus.

• You have a general understanding of SQL databases, indexes, locks.

• You have a knowledge in systems architecture.

• You are able to break down complex problems and projects into manageable goal.

• You are driven, ambitious, and willing to get hands-on in shaping the future of ground transportation travel.

• You show ownership and responsibility of your problem space.

• You are fluent in English, both verbal and written.
