WHAT WE DO
We are set up to provide our customers with end-to-end support in the process of developing software solutions:
- Business need analysis, design of functional and non-functional requirements, system analysis, support for business transformation and IT/business consultancy;
- User interface and experience design and development for mobile and desktop applications;
- Front and back-end development in a wide range of technologies: Java, .NET, Ruby, GoLang, Oracle, Python.
- Complete Data Warehouse solutions from architecture, design and implementation using mainly Vertica, Oracle and Microsoft platforms.
- Avalanche has been the central counterparty for multiple major banking projects in the Scandinavia and Baltics, in areas such as lending automation, regulatory reporting and calculations, integrations, governance, risk and compliance, Basel II/III, Stress Testing, AML/KYC.

You will have an amazing opportunity to work with experienced and constantly growing team. Your first project in Avalanche Labs will be in the iGambling industry. We are looking for a talented Nest.JS Backend Engineer to join our innovative development team. As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing server-side logic, ensuring the high performance and responsiveness of our web applications.
DO YOU HAVE…
💥Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development, with a focus on TypeScript and NestJS
💥Deep understanding of web application architecture and design patterns
💥Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB)
💥Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation.
💥Experience with GraphQL, including schema design and resolver implementation
NICE TO HAVE…
💥Experience with microservices architecture
💥Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
💥Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
💥Understanding of frontend technologies (e.g., React, Next.js, CSS)
ARE YOU WILLING TO…
🚀Design, develop, and maintain robust server-side components using Nest.JS)
🚀Implement and optimize RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and GraphQL to support various functionalities
🚀Work with databases (SQL and NoSQL) to manage data storage and retrieval
🚀Integrate third-party APIs and middleware to enhance application capabilities
🚀Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms
🚀Design and implement GraphQL schemas and resolvers
🚀Write clean, well-documented code with an emphasis on maintainability
🚀Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality
🚀Optimize server-side processes for scalability and speed
🚀Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers and UI/UX designers
🚀Perform thorough root cause analysis for bugs and implement effective solutions
