Work You'll Do

Utilizing Tenable software to perform vulnerability scans and risk assessments.
Analyzing vulnerability data and identifying risks in the IT infrastructure.
Collaborating with the security and IT teams to prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk and ensure they are addressed in a timely manner.
Developing and implementing vulnerability management policies and procedures.
Preparing reports for management detailing the vulnerability status and remediation efforts.
Keeping up-to-date with the latest vulnerabilities and industry best practices.
Providing training and support to staff regarding vulnerability threats and prevention.
Participating in security audits and compliance checks.
Contributing to the organization's overall cybersecurity strategy and improvements.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience within the following:
Vulnerability scanning and risk assessment software, preferably Tenable.
Ability to analyze vulnerability data and prioritize risks.
Developing and implementing vulnerability management policies and procedures.
Security audits and compliance checks.
Experience with technologies such as IDS/IPS, DLP, Proxy, Web Application Firewall (WAF), Endpoint detection and response (EDR), Anti-Virus, Sandboxing, network and host-based firewalls, Threat Intelligence, Pen Testing.
Experience with cyber security program policies, procedures (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP), and controls.
Ability to obtain & maintain the required security clearance
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:

Completed relevant certifications such as Certified Intrusion Analyst (GIAC), Continuous Monitoring (GMON), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Security+, Network+
