Mid/Sr Full Stack Engineer

In the role of Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in building high-quality, innovative, and performant software that aligns with industry standards and best practices.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide technical leadership, bringing best engineering practices to all phases of large-scale engineering initiatives
  • Work cross-functionally with support agents, other engineers, designers, QA, and product managers to drive product and process improvements
  • Design and execute new user-facing features and applications
  • Improve observability by identifying logging and monitoring improvements
  • Build test automation to ensure quality release after release
  • Lead initiatives to refactor, re-engineer, and reimagine our platform
  • Produce high-quality software that is well designed, fully unit tested and passes peer code review
  • Deliver projects with high quality and at a rapid cadence

 

Our Recruitment Process

  • 30-minute Call with Recruiter (project, benefits, etc.)
  • Interviews directly with the client (depending on the project the # of interviews may vary, this may include a code assessment)

Requirements

  • Experience as a full stack engineer (frontend + backend development)
  • At least 4 years of experience building, fixing, and scaling web apps (B2B apps preferred)
  • At least 3 years of experience with Ruby on Rails
  • Desire to learn and mentor
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • An innate desire to learn and grow
  • A solid foundation in computer science
  • Dedication to writing and maintaining documentation
  • A willingness to adapt quickly
  • Excellent English communication
  • Currently living in LATAM
